Styled Shoot | Elopement

"It's like one two three, just as easy as can be. Just the way you look at me, you make me smile. Ain't no need to complicate it, we both know that's overrated. We've been there. It's safe to say it ain't our style. It's just that S I M P L E. Simple as can be." -Florida Georgia Line, Simple You have to go look up this song while you look at these photos! The words are perfect for the inspiration behind doing this shoot. (And I don't even listen to country!) I especially love the beginning line of the second verse. No joke, check it out! Instead of trying to write about all the amazing things provided by our team of vendors myself, I thought it would be better to hear from them directly! Look for their notes to read scattered throughout the post while you get inspired by these images! - Collaborator Information - Photographer: NRS Photography Florals: The Olive Branch Flower Art & Events Hair/Makeup Artists: Studio 31 Salon & Spa Dinner/Desserts: GeeManetti’s Model Bride/Groom: Alex & Rebecca Kentner Bridal/Men’s Wear: Elite Bridal Bridal Accessory Jewelry: It’s So Me Boutique Flatware/Serving-ware/Napkins: Cynthia Bookwalter, Jacquie Potter, Murna Moss Tables/Chairs/Stemware/Serving Bowls: Two’s Company Calligraphy: Laura Hines Designs

We choose this dress because it is the perfect amount of elegance and relaxation all in one! Most people think about bridal gowns being these big sweeping gowns with embellishments and lace all over but bridal gowns can also be comfortable and simplistic. We love this gown for its textured pattern and clean silhouette, it goes perfectly for the bride that wants that fun backyard wedding while still looking every bit a bride. This dress is from our Watters collection which embodies the alternative bride who wants comfort to edge to bohemian. They have a gown for the bride who wants to get married on a mountain to the Sahara desert and even the courthouse! At Elite Bridal we love to embrace every brides style and vision for their wedding day! And not to forget the fella, we love the uniqueness of the plaid patterned pant that really helps show off the personality of this fun-loving couple. Who doesn't love a suspender and bowtie too?! I chose that style of bridal bouquet because as an elopement bride you still want to feel bridal, just keeping it at your own level.

Nothing too big or fancy, just complimentary to the dress and the day.

As a bride it’s all about the dress, everything else kind of follow’s suit, and the bridal gown was the perfect blend of laid back elegance for a courthouse wedding, so I chose a small-scale garden-style bouquet. Kind of boho, kind of garden party.

My favorite part about the shoot was the floral chandelier. We were able to light it and give our space an added warmth and inviting feel as everyone was arriving and the sun was going down.

I love finding a unique item that we can do for each couple’s day wether that be a backdrop wall, a hanging installment, or something completely unique that tells the story of who they are as a couple. - Rebecca Kentner Olive Branch Flower Art & Events

"I was thrilled when Natalie invite me to participate in this styled shoot. I've know both Natalie and Rebecca for quite some time, and to be involved with something that they're a part of is such a privilege. Since GeeManetti's will be opening this coming Spring, the shoot was a wonderful opportunity to offer a sneak peak of a few menu items that we will have. Natalie said that their theme for the "reception" would be an intimate back yard BBQ. So I chose our Teriyaki Chicken Kabobs, Savory Mushroom Wild Rice, and a Strawberry Spinach Salad. I picked these items because they are bright, colorful, delicious (we eat them at home pretty often!), and matched the theme. I also made a chocolate chip cookie wedding cake (at Rebecca's request) which I had not ever made before, but it turned out really well!

I had so much fun with this project, it was such a unique way for each participant to display their talents/products. I am so grateful that I was able to collaborate with such a talented group of people, and hope to have the opportunity to do so again in the future!"
