Woohoo! The first wedding of this 2021 season (and my first blog post in for-eh-vur) I got to spend this past Saturday photographing Cole (Jeffrey) & Megan's intimate wedding & reception. Megan e-mailed me with just 30 days until her wedding! Luckily, February is an off-season month, so I was happy to report back a big YES for availability! We chatted about her day over coffee at Mad Goat that week, and only met again on the big day to do the darn thing! With a guest list of just close family and a few friends, and a simple cake & punch reception... it reminded me a lot of the photos from my parents wedding day! I was talking the next day to a friend at church, and she said, "Oh yeah, that's how all the weddings used to be!" End of February weather really could have gone either way, but wowza. If the bad weather options could've been a snow storm and/or -20 temps, we lucked out. So enjoyed capturing this part of their love story for them. Many congratulations & happy wishes for their future together! I hope I'll get the opportunity to work with them again, especially because their beautiful home has a magnolia tree out front (Which isn't in bloom in February of course)...and I flipping *love* magnolia trees! Here's some details on the pretties: Wedding Dress: David's Bridal Bridesmaids: Baltic Born Rings: Flora Gems
