"It's like one two three, just as easy as can be.
Just the way you look at me, you make me smile.
Ain't no need to complicate it, we both know that's overrated.
We've been there. It's safe to say it ain't our style.
It's just that S I M P L E. Simple as can be."
-Florida Georgia Line, Simple
You have to go look up this song while you look at these photos! The words are perfect for the inspiration behind doing this shoot. (And I don't even listen to country!) I especial

Rob + Halley | Wedding
A day worth celebrating, August 18th, Rob & Halley became husband and wife!
An adventure from start to finish! It's funny how many places come up that I've never been, even in my own hometown. This was my first visit to Second Church of Christ. It was super nice being able to just jog from one end of the building to the other to visit the guys getting ready and the gals doing hair and makeup at the other end!
We found some beautiful pockets of light throughout the day, wh

Amelia | Newborn
I remember the first time, in the early stages of my career, that I had someone who I did not personally know ask me to take their photographs. It was kind of a strange and nerve-racking experience for me then. This session had me reflecting on that because I had not ever met Katie or Andy. We only have a whopping 2 mutual Facebook friends even! The difference is now I'm very used to not knowing my clients until our first session. As with most of these lifestyle shoots, that

Joe + Natalie | Wedding
We're quickly approaching on four weeks since the celebration of these two lovebirds getting hitched! Isn't that crazy?! In this season of life I feel like time is rushing past me like a whirlwind.
Joe and Natalie could not have asked for a prettier April day! (Though, we wouldn't have said no to a cloud or two during portrait time!) But there was a beaming sunshine in the sky and in the hearts of all the people who had the privilege to witness this special union!
I could

Tyler + Haley | Wedding
March 24th, 2018. What we all hoped would be a budding spring day, maybe crossing our fingers for no early April showers, turned out to be one of the biggest snow days of the year. I know it seems cliche to talk about the weather... but it's an important aspect of the day! Since my favorite source of light is nature, the weather is pretty high up on the list of factors I'm considering on any given shoot day!
Getting to know Tyler and Haley through our consultations and th

Rosser | Family
I had the pleasure of meeting the Rosser family 5 months ago, when their sweet baby Billy was just 1 month old! Mom had the most beautiful newborn pictures of him already done in-studio, but she fell in love with the at-home style she saw on my page. One of their pictures is currently a featured photo on my Facebook Cover, I loved that session so much! We got the whole family involved for this one and went to Heron Park. It's a location with sentimental value to them, which I

Cale + Kaitlin | Wedding
I heard from Kaitlin just shortly after her and Cale were engaged! As with a lot of my couples, my first interaction was with the bride, Kaitlin, seeking out vendors for the wedding day. I was available, we hit it off, and the rest is history!
We went to Allerton Park in Monticello just a few months after our initial meet-up to shoot some engagement photos. I got totally turned around and lost on my way out there (HOW many times have I been there now, and I still got lost?!

Logan + Carissa | Engagement
Carissa got in touch with me almost exactly one month ago. She was very newly engaged and had scheduled a wedding date for September...of THIS YEAR! I was so thrilled to be able to tell her that I still had her date available and we quickly made arrangements to get together and chat about her and Logan's big day.
Carissa is truly Logan's number one fan, and he is hers. Their love story is absolutely adorable, I'm excited to be capturing this chapter of it.
We had original

Tyler + Haley | Engagement
I first met Tyler and Haley over wedding chat and coffee at Mad Goat! They're getting married in the spring next year and they decided to include me in their big day to capture it. I am super excited about it. Fast forward to their engagement session this past week at Homer Lake, and I. cannot. wait!!! for next spring to roll around so I can work with them again. Haley is going to make the most beautiful serene bride, and Tyler's smile is totally infectious. They are impos

Seth + Holly | Wedding Day
You know what they say about April showers, huh? And here we are a week later and the rain is just now letting up.
Nobody let the rain put a damper on this gorgeous day at Crazyman's Hideaway though. Holly was seriously the most chill bride I've ever seen about it, and then by the time everyone was ready to go out and take some photos, it let up to a drizzle and then nothing for most of the day! I know that was a "yes" answer to many prayers!
I loved getting to work with
